Lucky I'm in Love

Well I must say I'm a happy girl, both of my besties are back from California. I'm sitting back after a night of swimming and dinner with my family and close friends and listening to some Death Cab for Cutie. My dreams are sweet and so are my hopes for well.. everything. I'm getting pretty anxious for school this semester, or more the idea of focusing all the stray engergy that I collect during the summer, and who's to blame me for hoping to meet a cutie in one of my classes? Fall also means Hilly's busy touring will slow down and more bestie time for me and her, all this traveling must be so fun for her, and meeting so many new people! I'm dealing with a streak of bad luck I've been delt. First my car not working for me, and seemingly only me! My phone being quite frustrating as of lately, and the simple things that add up, and did I mention this was all one day? I don't know how I mangaged to keep my smile! I also embarked on a part of me I didn't even think exsisted, to the land of SHOES, I have the urge to gush about the 'steal' I got on a gorgeous pair of light gray suede boots that made my life complete, or the black ankle boots but I'll spare you! I also found a little gift for Grandpa that I'm pretty sure will cheer him up, It's hard to wrap my head around his amputation still, but he has his family here for him and we're doing all we can to help. I have the upmost faith he'll be alright. But a prayer or two from me or you couldn't hurt. Well of to bed for me I have a busy day of school books and mindless errands to accomplish.

I Left my Heart in San Diego

July first through the second marked the third annual HHK trip which meant which entails very little sleep, endless fun with 'the cousins', a 'thank you' picture at McDonalds, and the power of energy drinks. This trip was noticably different than the others though. Between the four of us we had a blast just with each others company, the freedom to be yourself COMPLETELY with someone...or in our case three other people is a relief. I also got to see my penguins that I adore so much which was exciting, for me and for Kayla! It was enjoyable but I'm still counting down the days until Mariah's graduation and our HHK graduation trip, that means just myself, Kaykay, Riah, and Meggie! Where the real fun begins! On the sidenote, San Diegos scenery is looking mighty good. Well good night for now! Check out more pictures at www.myspace.com/alpinestarangel
